Héloise Geoghegan made her debut at the age of 16 recording Saint-Saens’ violin concerto No.3 with the RTE Concert orchestra of Ireland.
In 2010 she made her American debut at Carnegie Hall in New York, and soon after at the Wigmore Hall in London.
After completing a 2-year scholarship to study in Florence at the ‘Scuola di Musica di Fiesole’ . where she specialised in chamber music performance with the critically acclaimed Trio di Milano,
Héloïse went on to obtain her Masters Degree and Konzertexamen both with 1st class honours at the historic Hochschule für Musik und Theater - Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy in Leipzig, under the guidance of Prof. Mariana Sirbu.
She also completed a Master's degree in Classical String Performance at The University of Limerick in Ireland, where she was Artist in Residence with the Trio Bellatrix.
During her studies Héloïse took regular Masterclasses with Stefan Georghiu, Jean Jacques Kantorow, Emanuel Borok, Bruno Giuranna, Nora Chastain and Menahem Pressler.
Whilst living in Germany Héloïse worked for 3 years in the Gewandhaus Orchestra of Leipzig and later in the Leipzig Radio Orchestra - Mittel Deutsche Rundfunk , under the baton of prestigious conductors such as Herbert Bloomstedt, Sir Roger Norrington, Fabio Luisi, Riccardo Chailly, David Zinman, Russell Davis, Kurt Masur. She also collaborated with the Irish Chamber Orchestra and Camerata Ireland, the chamber orchestra founded by pianist Barry Douglas.
Héloïse made her debut as a soloist at the National Concert Hall in Dublin with the National Symphony Orchestra, performing Chausson’s Poème.
She was invited back to perform both Mendelssohn’s violin concerto and the Bruch violin concerto, the latter of which was broadcast live throughout Europe receiving great critical accolades.
Heloise has a great passion for chamber music and has played with internationally renowned artists such as Mariana Sirbu, Bruno Giuranna, Phillip Moll, Tatjana Masurenko, Christian Giger and the Kronos Quartet, giving concerts at major venues, including the Theatre des Champs Elysees in Paris, Wigmore Hall in London, Casa da Musica in Porto, the Schumann Haus, the Mendelssohn Haus, Leipzig…
Heloise has also taken part in important festivals such as the West Cork International Chamber Music Festival, Gstaad Festival, Festival de Saint Denis, Festival of Lake Como, Suolsalmi in Finland, Ponte de Lima Festival, Toscana Classica and the Festival of the Pontine Sermoneta …
In 2013 she became artistic director for the wonderful charity Link For Aid and was responsible for organising the music and artists for their first big event ‘MUSIC FOR MYANMAR’ in Yangon, (Burma). The Charity raised a considerable sum of money which went to help support very poor orphaned children and elderly people in Myanmar.
Since 2012 Héloïse holds the post of Violin Professor at the Conservatory of Music ‘Stanislao Giacomantonio’ of Cosenza, Italy. This year her student was selected on behalf of Playwithapro.com sponsored by Deutsche Grammphon to perform for Daniel Hope in a masterclass which went live in streaming worldwide on the internet.
This year Héloïse toured performing Mozart’s violin concerto no.5 in Romania with the Oltenia Philharmonic and in Mexico with the State Symphony Orchestra of Mexico.
Héloïse plays a Tommaso Carcassi violin of 1731.
