Born in Rome, Alessandro Viale is an eclectic musician who believes in the artist as a well‐rounded person, active in society. Driven by curiosity and passion, Alessandro was inspired by the musicians of the past to not only study piano, fortepiano and harpsichord but also composition and conducting. Furthermore, he obtained a degree in Physics, with a thesis in Acoustics.

Alessandro is now a teacher at the prestigious Ecole d’Humanité in Switzerland where he shares and fosters his many passions. At the same time, he further develops his international career, both as a performer and composer. So far he has recorded twelve CDs of piano solo and chamber music, for labels such as Brilliant Classics, Sheva Contemporary, KHA, Cremona Records, Da Vinci and Stradivarius, which have been reviewed in renowned magazines such as Gramophone, Musical Opinion, BBC Music Magazine, and The Financial Times.
