After its inaugural concert on December 3rd, 2010 with the “Trio Rèsonances”, which earned extraordinary public and critical acclaim, the Associazione Mozart Italia-sede di Terni returned with another important event, as part of the Valentinian Celebration, sponsored by the Terni Tourist Bueau. Guest of the evening was the Salzburg Orchestra Musisches Gymnasium under the direction of Markus Obereder, with the soloist participation of the 14-year-old clarinetist, Aron Chiesa. The concert program reflected a general lightness, in syntony with the valentine spirit, and with the aim of attracting a young public, in harmony with the atmosphere in the city during this period as well as with the youth of the fifty orchestra members and the solist virtuoso. From the opening Mozart “Divertimento” to the sublime “Adagio” of the “Concert for Clarinet”, from Schumann's “Symphony of Spring” to Weber's “Concertino” and Grieg's “Peer Gynt”, everything revolved around the themes of love, of tenderness, of youthful passion and of freedom. A professional recording of the event was made with the aim of producing a CD to support a project in the Pediatric Ward of the Terni Hospital of S. Maria. The well-known comic-strip artist, Fabio Vetturi was also present with his own original, extemporaneous contribution.
