Monday, August 13 at 21.30, at the Cloister of S. Agostino di Narni, will take place the presentation of the 8th edition of the International Festival "Luci della Ribalta" of Narni, organized by the Associazione Mozart Italia based in Terni - President and Artistic Director Anais Lee, promoted by the Municipality of Narni and the CARIT Foundation. The inaugural concert "Il ritorno della festa armonica" will feature Calogero Palermo (clarinet) and Gustavo Nunez (bassoon), todays best international instrumentalists, who hold the main roles in the Concertgebouw Orchestra of Amsterdam, together with the Eos Quartet, winner of the prestigious F. Abbiati Prize, P. Farulli, with Elia Chiesa (violin), Giacomo del Papa (violin), Alessandro Acqui (viola) and Silvia Ancarani (cello).
It will be the first of the great concerts scheduled for the 2018 edition as always rich and generous in offering unforgettable artistic emotions, with more than 250 guests from 22 countries. There will be more than 50 scheduled concerts, without even counting happenings, flash mobs, tastings of local products and fine Umbrian wines in collaboration with the Associazione Strada dei Vini Etrusco Romana. Among the many high-profile international guests we remember, Fedor Rudin, winner of the last Paganini Prize edition, Felice Cusano, one of the best Italian violinists, the cellist David Eggert, one of the best cello interpreter, and Aron Chiesa, First Clarinet soloist of the Sinfonieorchester Basel.
Among the many novelties of this year, then, a "Spazio World" hosted in the Eroli Museum, conceived and strongly desired by the Artistic Director Anais Lee, dedicated to the presentation of art and culture of other nations. On Sunday 12 August at 7.30 pm, will be the opening of the Korean Art Exhibition and Hanji paintings on paper which. Throughout this whole the period there will be a concert dedicated to the most beautiful Korean arias and melodies, a photographic exhibition and much more.
The Festival, organized by the Associazione Mozart Italia - based in Terni, in collaboration with the Municipality of the City of Narni and the CARIT Foundation, has the Patronage of the Umbria Region, the Province of Terni, the Chamber of Commerce of Terni, the Municipality of Terni, the Municipality of Sangemini, the Austrian Cultural Forum, the Stiftung Mozarteum Salzburg, and the Istituto Coreano Culturale in Italy.
