As an accomplished pianist and harpsichordist, Miss Facchini’s work has been used in several film soundtracks. Fiammetta Facchini received her diploma in Piano performance, Harpsichord performance and Chamber Music performance at the graduate level (State post-graduate Conservatory “G. Rossini” in Pesaro, Italy; State post-graduate Conservatory "A. Casella" 'Aquila; State post-graduate Conservatory "S.Cecilia" in Rome), with honors. Besides having earned the “Diplome de Virtuosité” in Switzerland, with the Argentinian pianist Professor Eduardo Vercelli (First Prize Munich Competition), Miss Facchini attended master class at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena (Rudolf Buchbinder), at the Mozarteum (Sergei Dorensky and Leonid Brumberg), and at the Accademia “Franz Liszt” in Budapest (Balazs Szoklay). Miss Facchini also completed two year-long programs of advanced study of chamber music at the prestigious music schools in Fiesole (FI, Italy) and Saluzzo (CN, Italy), graduating with distinction. For chamber music, she studied under the guidance of excellent musicians such as Sirbu, Gheorghiu, Trio di Trieste, Altenberg Trio di Vienna, Lorand Fenyves, Bernadene Blaha, Ferenc Radosz, Gábor Takács-Nagy, Giulio Franzetti. Miss Facchini has kept tournées in France, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Hungary, Austria, Canada, U.S.A., Japan, Greece, United Arab Emirates and Czech Republic, either as a soloist or as member of a chamber music ensemble. She has played several premieres of compositions and recorded five CDs. She was professor of piano and chamber music at the graduate-level Conservatory of Cagliari, Bari, Torino and Pesaro (Italy), professor and pianist accompanist at the Professional School in Espinho (Portugal), pianist accompanist at the University of Porto (Portugal) and professor of Piano and Chamber Music at the Superior Institute Piaget of Viseu. She plays in a violin and piano duo with Ludovico Tramma, with whom she has won many prizes in national and international competitions. In 2007 they recorded a CD for Afinaudio (Portugal), with the sonata in d minor by Schumann and the sonata op.47 “A Kreutzer” by Beethoven; in 2008 they recorded a CD “Violino e Pianoforte cantano l’Opera!”, also for Afinaudio (Portugal) and in 2009 they recorded a CD "The Duo Tramma Facchini celebrating!" with the Sonata in G major by Brahms, the Sonata in F major by Mendelssohn and the Ciaccona by Bach/Mendelssohn. She completed her PhD in Music/Performance with a thesis entitled "Psycho-Physio Dynamics in ViolinPiano Duo: a Pianist's perspective" at the University of Aveiro (Portugal), by unanimity, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Nancy Harper. She took part in four important congress related with Performance, presenting hers papers: London International Piano Symposium, Royal College of London; International Symposium on Performance Science (ISPS), Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst of Vienna e congress Performing Arts Medicine Association (PAMA) Snowmass, Colorado, International Symposium on Performance Science (ISPS) Ryukoku University of Kyoto. In October 2018, his book on pianist and pedagogue Eduardo Vercelli it was presented in Geneva (Switzerland). She is now Professor of Piano to the Conservatory "A. Boito" of Parma (Italy).
