A special guest is coming back to the 8th International Masterclasses Narni 2018. The cellist David Eggert is having a masterclass from the 21st to the 27th of August. He is a young Canadian cellist with a promising international career and he is known for its dominant stage presence and brilliant interpretation. Eggert won first prize at the 2008 international cello competition Antonio Janigro in Zagreb and received honorary awards at the naumburg international cello competition in New York. He has studied with international musicians such as Anner Bylsma, Frans Helmerson, Miklos Perenyi e Aldo Parisot. He won the Eckhardt-Grammaté Competition for Canadian Music in the 2006, focusing on the XX century repertoire and he performed in 18 canadian cities. He also won the first prize  in the ARAM competition in Repetigny, Quebec, and a the Young Performer's Competition in Flora, Ontario.
