INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL LUCI DELLA RIBALTA

The 8th International Festival Luci della Ribalta will take place from the 14th August to the 29th August 2018 with more than 50 free events of high artistic level, from the afternoon to the evening with concerts, street improvisations, conferences and seminars, made in prestigious locations of the small medieval village of Narni and the province of Terni.

The Festival will open with two big names: Gustavo Nunez and Calogero Palermo, both first bassoon and first clarinet of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra of Amsterdam. In addition, the exclusive Felice Cusano, one of the best violinists in Italy; Madlen Stokic, excellent Serbian violinist, winner of the Città di Stresa award; Giuliano Sommerhalder, first trumpet player of the Rotterdam Symphony Orchestra, Aron Chiesa, a young clarinetist of international fame, soloist and clarinetist at the Basel Symphony Orchestra; Fedor Rudin, internationally renowned violinist who won first international competition awards, David Eggert, winner of the International Cello Competition Antonio Janigro in Zagreb; Ying Xue, chamber music soloist from the United States, winner of the International Mozart Competition Salzburg first prize; Marius Cojocariu, double bass player who works with the greatest international orchestras, including the Luigi Cherubini Orchestra of Piacenza under the guidance of Maestro Riccardo Muti; Salvatore Vella, first flute soloist of the Bellini Theater Orchestra of Catania; Francesco Telli, owner of the Chair of Composition at the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome; Arturo Tallini, guitar teacher at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome; and again, Luca Pincini, brilliant cellist who collaborates with the most important Italian orchestras; Anna Pugliese, winner of numerous awards and teacher at the Conservatory of Salerno; Florian Kitt, prestigious Austrian cellist; Sandra Belic, winner of numerous prizes and competitions and lecturer at the University of Belgrade; Natasa Sarcevic, lecturer at the London College of Music and Harald Herzl, Dean of the Archi Department of the Mozarteum University of Salzburg. Other famous guests will be added soon.
