From the early years of her life she showed a strongmusical aptitude starting to study thepiano at the age of five and devoting herself to compositionfrom a very young age. Shegraduated in 1991 at the S. Cecilia Conservatory inRome under the guidance of Prof.Gabriella Galli Angelini with best marks and honors.She obtained the Postgraduate Diplomaat the National Academy of S. Cecilia with M° FelixAyo.He continues his piano specialization with MaestroKonstantin Bogino in Paris and in Romeat the Accademia Angelica Costantiniana.She has been the winner of numerous national and internationalcompetitions. She hasperformed as a soloist and in various chamber ensemblesat the most important concertinstitutions in Italy and abroad, always receivingwide acclaim from the public and critics.In 1997 together with the violinist Marco Fiorentinishe formed the Ars Duo with which sheestablished herself in numerous national and internationalcompetitions.She has performed as a soloist and in various chamberensembles at the most importantconcert institutions in Italy Friends of Music ofFlorence, Friends of Music of Vicenza, Friendsof Music of Padua, Friends of Music of Verona, Friendsof Music of Palermo, Asolo Musica-Veneto Musica di Asolo, the Teatro Nuovo "Giovannida Udine", the Philharmonic Academyof Rovereto, the Society of Concerts of Parma, theSymphony Orchestra of the VerdiTheater of Trieste, the Aquilan Society of Concerts"B. Barattelli", the Laudamo Philharmonicof Messina , Festival of Nations of Città di Castello,Society of the Quartet of Bergamo, Gogof Genoa, Bologna Festival, University Institutionof Concerts - IUC, Rome, Orchestra of theMunicipal Theater of Bologna, Philharmonic Societyof Trento, Ass. Chamber Music ofTrieste. For Radio3 Rai you also performed in thereview of "I Concerti del Quirinale",broadcast live on national and European radio. Youalso intensify your activities abroad:Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Austria, Germany,Ukraine, Lithuania, Czech Republic,Albania, France, England, Poland, Slovenia, China.In 2000 he formed the Ars Trio of Rome whose debuttook place in the Chigiana winterseason "Micat in Vertice" and again in 2001 the Trioobtained the Diploma of Honor from theAcademy itself. In the same year the Ars Trio wasthe winner of the 1st Prize at the "Città diPinerolo" International Competition and the 1st Prizeat the prestigious InternationalCompetition "Premio Trio di Trieste" in Trieste, thelast Italian ensemble to have achievedthis recognition.Laura Pietrocini holds regular piano and chamber musicmasterclasses at the InternationalMusic Academy in Rome.
