Francesco Telli received his musical education at the Rome Conservatory of Music Santa Cecilia, where he obtained his diplomas in Pianoforte, Composition and Orchestral Conducting. Prestigious artists figure among his Maestros, including Armando Renzi, Giuseppe La Licata, Irma Ravinale, Franco Donatoni and Franco Ferrara. His compositions have been noted and awarded prizes in various competitions and performed both in Italy and abroad in the context of festivals and official musical seasons. He has collaborated with important chamber music groups specialised in contemporary music. His compositions have been published by Neuma Records & Publications, Sconfinarte SIMC, Editorial de musica Espanola Contemporanea di Madrid and recorded by EMEC and Pentaflowers. From 1991 to 2022, he was Full Professor of Composition at the Rome Conservatory of Music Santa Cecilia. Francesco Telli is currently President of the Valentino Bucchi Foundation.
